Heart-Centered Classroom

Stories of care, kindness and compassion from my experiences with students in a high school math classroom. My students constantly inspire me to deepen my awareness and practice of loving-kindness. When I was in teacher-school, student-centered instruction was the hallmark of best practices. I believe that today's students require a heart-centered approach that mindfully focuses on both cognitive and emotional needs of each member of the classroom learning community.
